After seven rounds of the NT’s premier Under 18s competition, the Hawks finally have a chance to play before a home crowd this Sunday after seven matches on the road.
The boys are scheduled to play Nightcliff at Nitmiluk Oval from 2pm.
Admissions are $6 for an adult.
The girls’ team will play a curtain-raiser from noon.
It was a challenging trip away for both teams on the weekend with two more matches in Darwin.
Coming off the back of good wins, the St Mary’s sides were a much greater challenge.
Girls final scores: Big River Hawks 1.0 (6) lost to St Marys 9.11 (65).

The tables were turned for the boys side as well with a strong showing by a strong marking St Mary’s team.
Final scores: Big River Hawks 3.1 (19) lost to St Marys 24.13 (157).

The Hawks will only play a handful of home games this season with another scheduled for December 8 the last home game of the year before a return to Nitmiluk on January 6 against the Palmerston Magpies when the competition is set to resume next year.
