As part of our big Christmas special to be published on Wednesday, December 5 we have featured a competition where an eagle-eyed reader can win a $1000 voucher to spend with any of our supporting businesses.

The winner will be able to choose where they would like to spend the voucher which can be in one chunk or split up between local businesses. 

Readers will have a week to fill in the entry form which will be included in our 20-page wraparound.

The entry can be dropped off in our office at Katherine Shopping Centre or text through a photo of the entry to 0419 658 311.

You will even see elusive Snags the reindeer peeking out our office window, if we can fence her in for long enough. (Someone suggested the name Snags and it has kind of stuck).

To enter, you need to find Snags and Santa which is hidden somewhere among our pages in that special edition.

Copies of the feature will be handed at at the town’s Carols by Candlelight as well on December 8 so you can enter there as well.

The winner from the correct entries will be drawn from a hat under official supervision of Snags of course.

The  winner will be advertised online and in print.
