Top End Health Service has advised there are ongoing telephone problems at Katherine Hospital.
From about 8am, there have been intermittent problems with people being unable to call in.
At the moment calls are being transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital while attempts are made to fix the problem.
External phone calls cannot be made from the hospital as well.
If you wish to contact patients in the hospital please contact them via mobile.
Technicians are working hard to rectify the issue.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience,” the hospital says.
