For the first time in many years the community hero will not be attending the Let's Clean Up Katherine event, but as she spends every morning picking up bags of trash on her bush walk, she can be excused.
On any given day at 6am Mrs Duggan can be seen walking the riverside trail between the High Level Bridge and the Katherine Hospital, recyclable bags for trash in hand.
"I take several of the bags and hang some near the camps and I make sure the walks are clean," she said.
She will usually fill three to four bags, mostly with alcohol drink containers, but also with plastic food wrappings, bottle caps and plastic bags.

The avid rubbish collector has been keeping her neighborhood clean for over 25 years.
She has seen periods of little discarded litter such as when police were previously monitoring bottle shops and she has seen it return with a vengeance.
But what she has noticed most of all is that if people picked up just three pieces of rubbish per day the annual Katherine clean up would be a lot less work.
"It only takes three pieces of rubbish a day and the town would be a lot better," Mrs Duggan said.
"There are always arguments from people that it is not theirs or they shouldn't have to. But to maintain the town we all need to pitch in."
She said it was just as important to take part in the annual clean up as it is to be involved in rubbish collection year round.
"The clean up day is once per year, and it is an absolutely fantastic way to collect bulk rubbish.
"We meet up as a group and decide on where the hot spots are and tackle them head on.
"I encourage people to do their neighborhood, the area they live in, or go to a park and pick up the litter there to make it nice for everyone.
"Or come on down on the day, it is a great community event."
Clean Up Katherine 2019 is happening this Sunday.
Volunteers can meet at the Katherine Skate Park at 9.30am to signup.
The Katherine Town Council event will provide rubbish bags and gloves.
