The often packed outdoor cafe, which was featured on MasterChef contestant Justine Schofield's cooking show Everyday Gourmet last year, is a popular space for residents and visitors.
Seeing a gap in the Katherine market, Ms Hanrahan founded The Black Russian Caravan Bar after years of researching the idea of introducing specialty coffee in Katherine.
Following its success, she established Maiden's Lane, located in the industrial area of Katherine.
The young achiever has provided more than 20 jobs to local workers, some of whom are now qualified baristas and despite working as many as 16 hours a day, she is happy to be achieving her goal.
Winners each received a trophy and $2000 to assist in achieving their goals.
Roley James, a 26-year-old from Katherine, was the first to bring ultralight aviation to the NT cattle industry, reducing the cost of management and mustering livestock substantially.
He also started his business at 20 years old - supplying high quality products at wholesale prices to the agricultural industry - was the first station assistant manager in the NT to build his own plane.
