More than 500 people are expected to attend the funeral of popular Katherine sportsman Warren Berto on Saturday.

The funeral service will be held at the Katherine Showgrounds from 9.30am on Saturday.
Warren, aged 35, a champion Northern Territory footballer died in a car crash near Pine Creek late last month.
Many of his former club mates from Palmerston Magpies are expected to attend the funeral.
He was the winner of the prestigious Nichols Medal.
Warren also played for the South Adelaide football club making his league debut in 2004 and winning the reserves best and fairest the same year.
The fatal crash occurred about 500 metres south of the Kakadu Highway turn-off.
The service will be followed by a burial at the Katherine Cemetery.
