NT Police fear the thief may drink it, and poison themselves in the process.
NT Police came across the theft while investigating an unlawful entry from a home in Pine Creek early this morning.
"Around 1:30am an unknown offender/s gained entry into a Pine Creek property stealing a quantity of alcohol, before leaving the premises," a police spokeswoman said.
"Police hold concerns for the offender/s as one of the wine bottles contained pure ethanol - used by the owner for cleaning.
"Consumption of Ethanol is extremely dangerous and can result in illness and or poisoning."
Police encourage anyone with information that may assist with this investigation, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 referring to PROMIS job 8935752.
