Ensuring humour is spread far and wide, five acclaimed artists sure to tickle anyone's funny bone will be making the trip as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.
Showing at Katherine's Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre, the comedians will be delivering a non-stop energetic set of bold stand up.
And the line up for Katherine has now been confirmed.
Award-winning stand-up comic, writer, director and actor Bob Franklin will be taking residents through the night with sets from Bev Killick, Dane Simpson, Mel Buttle and Xavier Michelides.
For 20 years, the MICF Roadshow has travelled around Australia presenting 99 performances of sketch, stand-up, satire, silliness and song, to over 80 destinations across 11 weeks.
"Whether you're in Katherine, Quirindi, Kyneton or Cairns, you can still experience Australia's largest and best- loved comedy festival in your own backyard," Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre director Poppy Searle said.
"The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is always a crowd pleaser at Godinymayin with tickets sure to sell quickly."
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow will be hitting Katherine on Saturday, May 11, 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
