Katherine Town Council chief executive officer Rob Jennings has resigned.

His resignation was announced today.
He first took the helm at the council in February, 2015.
He has held several executive leadership roles within local government throughout Australia as well as extensive private sector experience.
Mr Jennings has multiple degrees in Architecture, Applied Science, Economics and a Diploma in Leadership and Management.
Mr Jennings was hired on a five-year contract from November 2014, replacing former CEO David Laugher, who had resigned.
Acting CEO, Neroli Dickens, filled the role for six months after Mr Laugher left.
He came to Katherine as the former CEO of WA's Shire of Nannup and general manager of Victoria's Hepburn Shire Council before that.
Mr Jennings was appointed the Local Government Association representative on the NT Planning Commission in July 2017.
He has also been a board member of the Nitmiluk National Park Board and the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre.
"It has been a privilege to work beside CEO Robert Jennings for over four years," Mayor Fay Miller said today.
"I thank him for the direction that he has given Katherine Town Council to ensure our sustainability.
"Under his sound leadership we have established great working relationships especially with the NT Government and Federal Government.
"The elected members and I wish Robert and his family all the very best for the future and are very pleased that they will be remaining in the Territory."
Mr Jennings said it had been a privilege to serve the community in partnership with so many stakeholders to deliver enriching relationships and excellent results underpinned by sustainable service.
"Council are very proud of what we have worked together to achieve," he said.

- Recognition of Katherine by NT Government and key stakeholders as a progressive and vibrant centre.
- The transformation of a challenged organisation to one that is delivering on so many strategic fronts with operational success now following.
"I thank the whole organisation for their great support over this time and my sincere and deep thanks to Mayor Miller, Deputy Mayor Peter Gazey, Lis Clark who chose me from the very beginning with the strong support of other Elected Members, I also thank the NT Government representatives and the community who worked so hard to support us and are often so under-appreciated."
