Police have made another call out for witnesses to a suspicious death in Katherine East last week.
Their investigation continues into the tragic death of a 28-year-old woman who was found deceased at a home in the Holtze Crescent area last Tuesday morning.
Detectives from the Major Crime Section and Northern Investigations Section are investigating the death.
A police spokesman yesterday said police remained keen to talk to anyone who had information about what happened in the area last Tuesday morning.
At about 9am on Tuesday, June 18, police and St John Ambulance paramedics were dispatched to a report of a deceased female at the residence.
A neighbour had told Katherine Times earlier in the week of a loud commotion in the area early that Tuesday and police had attended.
Police are investigating the matter as a suspicious death.
Police would like to speak with any person who may have observed any disturbance between Monday night and Tuesday morning in the vicinity of Holtze Crescent, Callistemon Drive and Maluka Park.
We urge anyone with information that may assist us with our investigations to contact Police on 131 444 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
