They are on the road to give more Australian kids "a fair go", and have so far raised thousands upon thousands for the children's charity Variety.
Student and teachers at Kintore Street School pulled out all stops to welcome the troops this morning who were on their way to Pine Creek and Jabiru.
And were rewarded with a collection of stationery, dress ups, sensory toys and school bags.
"With the sun starting to rise, the Variety adventurers were greeted with lashings of hot coffee or tea, croissants, banana bread, platters of fruit, mini quiches, yoghurt, a flock of cockatoos and two helicopters flying over," Kintore teacher Di Dorfler said.
"It was claimed to be the best breakfast they had eaten since starting their journey at Mission Beach 14 days ago."
Staff and students had been in preparation mode since Saturday, and were thrilled with the turn out, she said.
Over their journey, the 169 adventurers have visited local towns and communities, while stopping into schools and organisations to meet some of the kids they are helping, Variety, the Children's Charity of Queensland, CEO Steve Wakerley said.
"By taking part, the Adventurers have the unique opportunity to see their fundraising efforts directly changing the lives of Aussie kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs," he said.
We believe all kids deserve a fair go and that no child should miss out on opportunities to learn and develop.

"We are very excited to be supporting so many kids and their families in these regions.
"Many of these towns and communities have been doing it tough in recent times, so it's fantastic to be able to come and support them."
The convoy will be making their way to their final destination, Darwin, over the next two days.
