Selwin John McIntyre spent a quiet evening at home with his family watching the State of Origin before retiring to bed.
But the Howard Springs resident hasn't been seen since.
Northern Territory Police report the man was last seen at approximately 10pm.
Left with out a trace, police have said they hold concerns for the man who suffers from a medical condition.
"Mr McIntyre is known to frequent Noonamah and had recently expressed a desire to travel to Katherine," a NT Police spokeswoman said.
Mr Selwin was last seen wearing a long-sleeve blue work shirt, dark blue Bomber jacket, dark blue jeans, a cap and thongs.
Police urge anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Selwin John McIntyre, to contact them on 131 444 or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
