Thousands of people descended on the Katherine Showgrounds for the annual show, now in its 54th year, with many travelling hundreds of kilometres from outlying communities and stations.
The pavilions were chock-a-block with creative entries, delicious treats and well-tended plants.
And the dust barely got a chance to settle as the arena was kept busy with campdraft and later on tonight, the rodeo.
