The scheme was launched by the Government in February in a bid to kickstart the housing construction industry.
The scheme offers first home owners up to $50,000 worth of incentives including a $30,000 construction bonus.
They will also get up to $18,000 worth of stamp duty concessions, as well as a $2000 grant to buy household products.
The construction industry across the Territory has seen a 50 per cent decline in the value of new homes built over the past two years, while population growth has slumped, creating challenging economic conditions in the Northern Territory.
Speaking in the NT Parliament yesterday, Treasurer Nicole Manison said 258 Territory homeowner discounts had been approved across the NT, including 122 in Darwin, 70 in Palmerston, 36 in Alice Springs, 22 in the Darwin rural area, seven in Katherine and one in Tennant Creek.
"We want more people to make their life in the NT and move to the Territory," Ms Manison said.
"We want to make sure that more people get their foot in the door of the housing market because it provides their long-term financial security and wealth. Most importantly, it also creates local jobs, particularly in the construction industry."
There does not appear to have been any successful applications in Katherine for the BuildBonus grant of $20,000 for new home building.
A new home is one that has never been previously lived in or sold as a place of residence.
To be eligible for the grant, you must have entered into a contract to build or buy a home, or have started construction as an owner builder on or after 8 February 8, 2019.
Ms Manison said there had been 103 BuildBonus applications approved with 68 in Palmerston, 24 in Darwin, nine in the rural area and two in Alice Springs.

In the first six months of the scheme, only one person had accessed the scheme to move to Katherine.
