The service will be held at the Katherine Fire Station.
Mr Stubbs was Katherine's auxiliary fire captain who battled pancreatic cancer before passing away on July 6.
A firefighter for more than 12 years, Mr Stubbs has contributed countless hours to the Katherine community, providing peer support to fellow firefighters, teaching and mentoring the younger generation and going the extra mile to give a helping hand.
He attended Katherine's Australia Day celebrations this year.
At the time, Mr Stubbs said he was "very humbled" by the community support through various fundraisers..
"I have never doubted in my mind loving Katherine and the people here, there has just been so much support," Mr Stubbs said.
The service at 11am is intended to be his last "turnout" from the station.
His life will be celebrated after at the Katherine Country Club, at about noon.
Mr Stubbs was awarded an Australian Fire Services Medal in June this year.
