The relay began at 2pm on Saturday and continued through until noon on Sunday.
Relay For Life is an overnight, community event where teams of 10-15 participate in a relay-style walk or run to raise funds for Cancer Council.
One in every two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, and is the leading cause of death in Australia.
The first Australian Relay for Life had 261 participants. Now over 134,000 people take to the track each year.
An opening ceremony was held at the YMCA oval from 5pm.
