Police said the injuries to the four people were non non-life threatening.
The crash happened 10km south of Elliott on the Stuart Highway about 6.20am.
The bus was carrying eight people, police said.
Four people and the driver were conveyed to the Elliott health clinic with non life threatening injuries and the remaining four passengers were accommodated in Elliott waiting for alternative transport arrives.
NT Police said initial inquiries have determined alcohol is not a contributing factor to the cause of the crash.
Investigations surrounding the circumstances leading to this incident are ongoing.
