"We extend our thoughts and sympathies to those affected in Australia's bushfires," a council spokeswoman said.
"The devastation has touched all Australians and our hearts are with the families and communities who are impacted by the fires and the ongoing recovery efforts occurring around the country."
Council staff will be cooking bacon and egg sandwiches out the front of their 2 Crawford Street Office between 7-9am tomorrow.
The donation is $5 for a delicious bacon and egg sandwich, and any other donations are welcome for this worthy cause.
The fundraiser has been made possible with donations have come from Woolworths and Town and Country Butchers.
