The resident wants to warn other motorists about the danger after one of her vehicle's side windows was smashed.
She told Katherine Times it was fortunate no-one was in the rear of her car at the time.
The resident said the rocks were thrown by small children at the corner of Chambers Drive and Stuart Highway at 4.20pm.
"That could have been my head, a baby or child in the back. I mean this is serious."
Police were notified of the incident.
