A crew of male strippers on a tour of Australia are adamant they will perform in Katherine this month.
After two consecutive years of car troubles and dangerous collisions with outback animals a number of safeguards have been added to the mix to ensure no one is left disappointed.
The male performance team from Sydney have installed a new engine and metal bars to the front of their tour bus.
Tour manager Dave Hughes said he has taken over all driving duties to mitigate any mishaps.
"We are going to make it," he said.
"The last two years were very unfortunate events, we were caught in the middle of nowhere, there were no rentals, and the mechanic was hours away."
Driving across barren landscapes as they head from one regional town to the next, the performers were always on a tight schedule and would sometimes drive late into the night.
The Sydney Hotshots had to cancel their show in 2018 following a late night collision with a kangaroo, about 10km outside of Halls Creek.
The incident took place not long after the bus had hit an emu, and was enough of a lesson for the boys to change up their schedules.
"We won't be driving at night anymore and we have left plenty more time between shows so there is less rushing," Mr Hughes said.
The oldest of the group at 38, Mr Hughes has been touring the show around Australia for the past couple of years, and was in Las Vegas dancing for 10 years prior.
He said he's kept in the game long after most tap out for the travel and adventure, and promises a night of fun when he finally arrives.
The performers are currently in Perth and still have many kilometres of driving and countless performances on stage before their night in Katherine, which they promise will be one of entertainment and fun.
The Sydney Hotshots will be performing at The Stuart Hotel on Thursday, February 27.
