Alianne Ladd
Devina Collins was transported 350km with CareFlight from her home in Urapunga to give birth to her first baby Alianne Ladd this week.
The new baby was born on Monday, March 9, at 11pm at Katherine Hospital.
Family from the far-away community rushed into Katherine to see the first grand child in the family, and for those who remained at home, excitement over the new arrival is building.
Patrick Junior Madden
Corrina Turner and Patrick Madden welcomed a new baby into the world yesterday.
Patrick Junior Madden is the first boy in a brimming household of girls, and has been named after his father.
The new baby joins four older sisters aged 11, 12, 14 and 17, and is sure to receive an abundance of attention when he gets home.
New mother, Corrina, gave birth to her little boy on Tuesday, March 10 at 12.30pm at Katherine Hospital and said she could hardly believe her run of girls had ended.
We're over the moon and excited at the prospect of buying little toy cars instead of dolls.
