The man is the seventh person to be fined for failing to abide by the Chief Health Officer Directions issued under section 56 of the Public and Environmental Health Act 2011.
The man yesterday flew into Darwin from Perth and failed to quarantine himself.
Police said they were monitoring the man due to him being identified as 'high-risk' for potential non-compliance upon his arrival into Darwin.
The man was fined $1099 and referred to Environmental Health Officers to conduct a further risk assessment.
Police said the man has had "very limited interaction" with the public.
