"We don't want to advertise too much just yet but there will be things happening and we're still here for the public, we haven't forgotten what it's like," show President Cathy Highet said.
"We'll be doing sections for photography and art, possibly craft and other sections -. Pets, poetry and writing will still be awarded too but given there are no entry fees there won't be a monetary prize for any awards this year.
"There will also be some sort of a virtual show. By the end of May or start of June there will be definitive information about what the show will and won't be doing," Mrs Highet said.

For those that can't wait, there are competitions now available through the Katherine Show Instagram to win prizes for the 2021 show.
The Show committee has previously expressed their gratitude and support for patrons, vendors and supporters in cancelling the event following advice from the Australian Government banning mass gatherings.
Cathy Highet, however, said that the show is irreplaceable and to bring it back in all its glory next year is essential to the community.
"It is of course a huge event for Katherine and it will be missed something chronic and we can't do it later in the year because unfortunately there are things we just don't have control over" she said.
"People have also been worried that this will mean the show will never be the same but that's just not true, the 2021 show will be as big and fabulous as it's ever been.
"Those watching our page would see that we've never really gone away, we've still been posting craft ideas so go like the page because that's where you'll be able to find information as we release it," Mrs Highet said.
