In Alice Springs, a 53-year old officer has been dismissed after being charged with a high range drink driving offence.
According to a police statement yesterday, it's the second incident involving the officer and drink driving.
As well, a 30-year-old officer has been dismissed after an investigation by NT Police Professional Standards Command into serious breaches of discipline pursuant to the Police Administration Act 1978.
Earlier in the week, a 34-year-old male police officer was also dismissed from the Northern Territory Police Force.
On March 20, the officer was convicted in the Darwin Local Court of two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault.
Following the Court case, he was served with a notice alleging three counts of serious breach of discipline pursuant to the Police Administration Act 1978
