Police are calling for information in relation to the alleged aggravated assault.

Police said about 4.20am yesterday, police responded to a reported stabbing at an accommodation facility.

The name of the facility has not been provided.

On arrival, police found a 30-year-old man with stab wounds and St John Ambulance in attendance.

The man was conveyed to hospital.

Police arrested a 28-year-old woman at same address.

She has been remanded in custody to appear in Katherine Local Court on Monday.
