Officers from the Tennant Creek Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on a residential property where it is alleged they uncovered child abuse material on a data storage device.
A 45-year-old man has been charged with seven offences relating to child abuse material, and has been remanded in custody to appear before the Tennant Creek Local Court in September.
Police said the investigations continue into the incident.
