Not just because the image is of our own famous hot springs, but that in many respects it is a pretty plain image.
Many local residents would have their own favourite home-grown picture of the place.
Tourism NT has achieved a milestone on its Instagram channel @NTaustralia, reaching 300,000 followers.
With our abundance of open spaces, beautiful landscapes and rich art and culture, the Northern Territory is continuing to grow its reputation as an 'instagrammable' holiday destination that is Different in every sense.
The top images for 2020 so far include a photo of Longitude 131 which was the most liked image with 9551 likes, followed by an image of Jumping Crocodile Cruises with 9529 likes.
Social media is an important tool to market the Territory, offering extensive scope for images to reach a global audience and people who would otherwise perhaps not be exposed to content from the NT. Tourism NT's official social media accounts have a combined following of more than 866,000 with the Instagram account having grown by 13 per cent over the last financial year, when compared to 2018-19.
You don't have to be a professional photographer or Instagram influencer to have a chance to be featured to an audience of 300K. All Territorians can promote the Territory by using the hashtag #NTaustralia

Tourism NT executive general manager Tony Quarmby said: "The Tourism NT Instagram account aims to inspire and entice travellers to visit the Northern Territory by showing off the diverse range of attractions and experiences that are available from the Top End to the Red Centre.
"During these unprecedented times, @NTaustralia has adapted its regular posting style by sharing increased 'dreaming' style content, providing our followers with a welcomed virtual escape. Since the end of March, the account's average engagement rate per post has increased by 9% when compared to the previous period.
"This strategic approach has been crucial to keeping the Territory top of mind to encourage consumers to experience our amazing destination for themselves when the time is right. This is particularly important as Australians start to plan domestic travel with the announcement of NT borders reopening on July 17.
"By sharing relevant content, such as images and videos from local tourism businesses, the industry is able to capitalise on Tourism NT's greater reach to increase exposure with followers worldwide. The most popular style of content is typically unique viewpoints of people interacting with landscapes, sunsets, animals or events."
