A group of nine Katherine people last weekend attended a Digital Mentoring Course presented by Ursula Lyons of SWADENT/ASSCA (Seniors West Australian Digital Expansion NT Project and Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association).
The participants are all keen to pass on their digital skills to enable other people within the community to become familiar with the benefits of using computers; tablets and/or mobile phones.
The Katherine Rotary Computer Club will start on Monday, August 10 at 10am with a workshop about how to create a Facebook page.
The club will be meeting at Rotary Park.
