Mr Booth is standing as an independent for the August 22 election.
Labor's Kate Ganley won the second position on the ballot, Melanie Usher was third, and Jo Hersey was number four.
A ballot draw has been held for the NT election on August 22.
Katherine will be contested by four candidates.
For the August NT election, the early voting centre will be at the Katherine shopping centre.
The centre will open from Monday.
Candidates have been advised no campaigning is to be allowed on the site, or even in the car park.
On election day, Tindal voters will be able to cast their vote in their new electorate of Arnhem at the community centre but the closest early voting centre is at Katherine.
For Katherine, the August 22 election day voting centres are at their usual locations in the Katherine Civic Centre and also the MacFarlane Pre-School in Katherine East.
Times for the pre-poll centre in the shopping centre are:
Monday, August 10 to Saturday, August 15- 8am to 5pm.
Sunday, August 16 - 9am to 3pm.
Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21 - 8am to 6pm.
