The usual crowds of grey nomads mostly stayed away from Katherine this year because of the coronavirus pandemic and many tourist-reliant businesses are struggling to survive.
Those businesses are encouraged to get along to the roadshow and find out what support is available and also to provide suggestions on how to recover as travel restrictions keep easing.
The NT Government's tourism vouchers provided an important dry season boost with two more rounds to go - round two in November and round three in February next year.
Tourism industry partners are invited to attend the information session which will provide an update on key projects and an opportunity for questions and answers.
Key updates include:
Destination Management Plans
Marketing update
Territory Tourism Voucher Round One overview & learnings
Digital Support Program launch
Please register using the below booking links. For more information contact tourism.development@nt.gov.au
The roadshow will visit Katherine at the civic centre on Wednesday, September 23 from 5.30pm-7.30pm.
Bookings are needed to attend.
