The Under 14's and Under 16's teams have made it through to the final to be held at rugby's headquarters, the Territory Rugby League stadium.
It is just reward for a solid year of training and competition, with most weekends spent on the road with early starts and late finishes.
Katherine Rugby League president Nathan Rosas said the junior players deserved their chance to be named the best teams in the NT in their respective age groups.
"They only have a five or six home games, most of the games are in Darwin so it has been a big commitment from them," Mr Rosas said.
"It is a big ask of the young players but also the coaches and their support staff, and parents," he said.
Mr Rosas said many weeks 25 to 26 players had been turning up to training to press for places in the Under 14's.
The Under 16's are coached by Kaine Tessier and the Under 14's by Jimmy King.
Mr Rosas said the 2020 season had only been shortened slightly and the Under 14's only entered the competition last year.
The Under 16's finished top of the table to be minor premiers.
As well, the local junior rugby league finals will be played in Katherine this Friday evening.
But on Saturday the Under 14's will play at the Darwin stadium at 1.30pm against Litchfield Red and the Under 16's are playing Brothers at 2.45pm.
Mr Rosas said any Katherine people who were able to make it were welcome to support the Katherine juniors in the final in Darwin and down at the sportsgrounds on Friday evening.
