We want you - police arrive in Katherine hunting for new recruits

This is a new Aboriginal Liaison squad in training - Eight new and three current officers have kicked off the first day of their three week course for the police. Participants hail from Lajamanu, Kintore, Yarralin, Gapuwiyak, Papunya, Santa Teresa, Elliott and Alice Springs. There are vacancies in the Barkly, Katherine and Arnhem Land districts.

Territory police are reaching out with the long arm of the law to draw more recruits into the ranks.
