Territory police are trying to track down three Victorians who have breached their quarantine requirements and have since left the NT.
Two men, aged 28 and 41, and a 25-year-old woman had been approved to undertake essential work in the NT.
The group travelled from Victoria for a two day work trip in early October and were required to quarantine in Tennant Creek when not working.
Police received information the group had breached their quarantine requirements.
Police are now in the process of issuing three people with infringement notices for breaching quarantine requirements under their COVID-19 Management Plan.
Incident Controller Acting Commander Shaun Gill said, "While this group has since left the NT an investigation has found they clearly breached their requirements issued by the Chief Health Officer.
"The group wore masks while outside their place of quarantine however, their disregard for abiding by the rules set out in their work exemptions is disappointing.
"I have been advised by the Chief Health Officer that, as this breach occurred more than 14 days ago, they wore masks, and had only a brief time outside quarantine, the risk to the community is very low."
Only yesterday police fined a 30-year-old man for breaching his quarantine requirements under his COVID-19 Management Plan.
The man from regional Victoria had been approved to undertake essential work and arrived in the Northern Territory on Friday.
The infringement penalty for failing to abide by the Chief Health Officer Directions issued under section 56 of the Public and Environment Health Act 2011 is $5,056 for an individual and $25,280 for a business.
NT Police and Environment Health Officers continue to undertake extensive compliance activities, and there have been now been over 32,000 checks conducted in the Northern Territory.
