SA Health says the male teenager and woman in her 20s pose no threat to the wider community.

There are now 10 active infections in SA, all in hotel isolation.

The latest cases take the total number in South Australia since the start of the pandemic to 487.

The state has conducted more than 528,000 tests.

On Saturday some revised restrictions come into force with South Australians in Victoria to be allowed to return home.

Victorians will also be able to cross the border if relocating permanently.

However they must all complete a cross-border registration form and quarantine at home for 14 days.

They will be subject to compliance checks with 40 State Emergency Service volunteers to take up roles helping police with that work along with other COVID-19 operations from November.

Once trained, the SES staff will also be used to as part of Operation Nomad which runs each summer to keep a check on known firebugs.

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said the addition of the SES personnel would allow some police to come off coronavirus duties and return to their regular duties.

"Their assistance will boost our resources to ensure operations are safely, effectively and efficiently managed throughout the fire danger season and beyond," he said.

SES Chief Officer Chris Beattie said the crews would be paid for their work over the next five months and the deployment was an excellent opportunity for them to get operational experience.

The one-week induction course will cover COVID-19 responsibilities, and refresher training on traffic management, infection control, the use of personal protective equipment, radio communications and burnover drills.
