Spend $40 for a $10 discount.
The business boost was first launched in Darwin as a "buy local" way to counter the coronavirus-hit local economy.
The discount program began this morning in Katherine.
The NT Government and Katherine Town Council have partnered together to generate a funding pool of $90,000, allocated to the "myKatherine" digital platform.
The money will be spent in two rounds.
Round 1, starting today, is available until $30,000 has been spent.
Customers who register with "myKatherine" can receive $40 worth of discounts each day aimed at spending locally at retail, hospitality and tourism businesses.
Round 2 will be launched early next year.
Discount voucher details for customers are:
- Receive $2.50 discount on minimum spend $10
- Receive $5 discount on minimum spend $20
- Receive $10 discount on minimum spend $40
- Receive $20 discount on minimum spend $80
Vouchers are only valid at participating businesses.
