eMerge IT Solutions, on Katherine Terrace, has been added to a lengthy list of Katherine targets this week, with two attempted break-ins tallied in just seven days.
On Monday, lethal vet drugs and two cars were stolen from the Katherine Veterinary Clinic, and CCTV footage captured at the Katherine Country Club on the same night revealed a group of youth running amok.
Northern Territory Police yesterday charged three youth in relation to offences involving the Katherine Veterinary Clinic, including a 15-year-old male and two 17-year-old males.
"The 15 year old has been remanded in custody to appear in court in Darwin at a later date, and the two 17 year olds have been bailed to appear in court in Katherine", NT Police said in a statement released yesterday.
eMerge IT Solutions manager Faben Miglani said police had been notified of the incident and the extent of the damage appeared to be centred on the front doors.
"Another day in paradise, I guess," he said.
"This is twice in a week now. Last Friday both doors were smashed in. We had just had them fixed.
"Very annoying."
Mr Miglani said CCTV footage captured last week's attempted break in, which revealed extensive damage to the front of the store.
"Last time they spent an hour trying to get in," he said.
"We are going to have to get Crimsafe (security) at the front. The shop will look like a jail but we need to take the measures."
