Residents packed out the Katherine Club for the Katherine District Show Society's annual Trivia Night and dug deep into pockets.
This year's bright theme - the humble bee - had many dressing to fit the part and vying for the best-dressed crown - ultimately handed to team captain Theresa Cummings.
The winning table was awarded to team captain Teagan Pearce.
The Show Society has been kept busy this morning counting buckets of money raised on the night, but Anna Kerwin, long-term Treasurer, says a final figure won't be know until later today.
"We had a very successful night raising money for the show's entertainment," Mrs Kerwin said.
"This year we have something very different planned for the entertainment. I can say it has something to do with bubbles and that it has never been seen in the NT before."
