Katherine High School's library has undergone a $420,000 refurbishment - reopening this week with new shelves, tables, study spaces and even a barista training station.

Students voted on the colour scheme for the new learning hub last year, settling on a palette of blue.
Officially opening on Wednesday, the school still needs to add some finishing touches - such as filling the shelves with books - but students have already been making use of the space.
