It's the news residents of Katherine have been waiting for.
A local NT Health vaccination clinic will open its doors on May 25, and patrons aged 50 years and above can now book online to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
Operating three times a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's, the clinic also welcomes those eligible for Phase 1A and 1B.
The clinic will be operated out of the Training Centre, 18 Second Street, Katherine.
"If you are eligible to get vaccinated the best time to book your appointment is now," NT Chief Minister, Micheal Gunner, said.
