In their second year of participating in Do It For Dolly Day on May 14, the real estate agency held their first fundraising morning tea.

The team, in conjunction with the generosity from the Katherine community, raised a total of $2,004 for Dolly's Dream.

"We decided to hold a fundraiser to raise more awareness of Dolly's Dream. Kate and Tick Everett are local Katherine residents who we know personally. We are aware of what they are trying to achieve, so we wanted to contribute by fundraising," Elders Real Estate Katherine principal, Alison Ross said.

"We will definitely be participating in the future. Our morning tea was very well supported by the Katherine community, a lot of families visited on their way to school, and people of all ages stopped by."

With multiple team members having children in primary and secondary stages of education, Ms Ross said what Dolly's Dream promotes is not only a major benefit to children, but parents also.

"Bullying happens everywhere at every stage of your life but nowadays, children cannot escape it, they are growing up in today's society with so much online activity and technology," she said.

"We believe so strongly in Dolly's Dream because of the resources it provides for parents who need help in knowing what's wrong and right, and what the signs are that cyberbullying is present.

"It's help for families, not just a child."
