Perhaps it is time for you to try something new, make some new friends - or just catch up with those you already know. Choose from light exercise, light bites or a lively fiesta with a Mexican theme!
If you are feeling a bit sluggish and need to kickstart your system and maybe a dormant exercise program, why not try chair aerobics or Pilates?
They are held in Darwin, but you can attend online via Zoom.
OTHER NEWS
If you want to see what Zoom is all about, go down to the Anglicare offices on Third Street where they'll be broadcasting the classes.
They are run by SuperAger Sharon Kelly, who presented the classes at the COTA NT Seniors Expo held in March.
Sharon is also available to help you get online with her classes at home. You can call her on 0438 890 089. Do leave a message if she doesn't pick up, she will be in touch with you.
Katherine Seniors have organised a lunch and sing-a-along at the Katherine Country Club, always a popular venue; plus there are yarns and poetry happening at O'Keefe House.
COTA NT and Katherine Seniors are joining forces to bring seniors together from Darwin, the rural area "in between" and Katherine for a lively, bright and colourful fiesta at Adelaide River.
The theme is Mexican and you're invited to wear your biggest (shadiest) sombrero and kick up your heels. Or just enjoy the day!
Tell us your news: Hey Katherine, what's happening in your neck of the woods?
Transport is available though seat limits apply, so get in quick!
