Ms Henderson wants to ensure the interests of the Katherine community will be heard.
"I want to promise to the people of Katherine that if you vote for me, I will represent your interests, I will advocate for you and for the things we need in Katherine," Ms Henderson said.
"I will continue to scrutinise the presentations and reports from staff to ensure your rates are being utilised in the most effective way possible.
"I believe the people of Katherine are looking for people who can lead their community into the future confidently, and I trust they will choose the people suitably qualified and experienced for these roles."
There have been challenges for the council, but Henderson believes goals have been met and there is always room to grow.
"Katherine Town Council has come a long way in the last few years," Ms Henderson said.
"There have been challenges, but I believe that together as a team we have achieved some great triumphs as well.
"There is always room for improvement. As individuals we are always learning and as an organisation we are always growing and with this comes constant improvement."

These are the aspirations that Ms Henderson has for the coming four years:
- Development and Implementation of the five Year Community Strategic Plan.
- Strong Advocacy for more housing, services and funding commitment from the NT and Federal Government for Katherine.
- Strong Advocacy for a Waste Management Hub for the region to be funded and developed by the NT Government and Federal Government in conjunction with local and regional councils.
- Development of a Waste Management Advisory Committee to Council.
- More connection with the community through more public events and access to elected members for public questions.
- Full review and implementation of a new long-term financial plan.
