For over 5 years, Alice Sings has been teaching the public to sing in glorious three-part harmony. The Alice Springs community choir will be running a workshop in Katherine where they will teach participants how to sing Stevie Nicks' Landslide. All welcome. No singing experience required. Historical display
This static display of unique WWII military vehicles will be sourced from around the country. Collectors and military history academics are re-enacting the wartime supply convoys from Alice Springs to Darwin, stopping in Katherine along the way. Sunday, August 8. 4pm to 7pm. Katherine Museum.

The Anti-Discrimination Commission will hold public training courses in Alice Springs. There will be four courses - Preventing discrimination, harassment and bullying for managers and supervisors; contact officer; anti-discrimination, harassment and bullying; and challenging unconscious bias. Kalano Golf Day

A golf day will be held for the Kalano Youth Outreach and Transport that will raise money to create a drop-in centre for the youth of Katherine to keep them off the streets. Fishing Comp
Save the date
With the slogan "size does matter" here's a chance to put your fishing skills to the test and land the one that doesn't get away. The Mataranka/Roper River fishing comp had a $2000 first prize up for grabs in the event. It will be held from September 17-19.
