With many items on her 'to-do list', Mrs Kingdon, should she be elected, hopes to be the voice for her community.
"Let me represent you and I will be your voice," Mrs Kingdon said.
"I will listen, value and understand your issues and represent your views to help generate constructive positive solutions."
As a resident of Katherine for 22 years, Mrs Kingdon, who has owned and operated her own remedial massage business for 12 years, has seen the town evolve into a "vibrant and great place to work and raise a family".
Over the years, Mrs Kingdon has been involved in various community groups in varying capacities, including lending her hand at her son's primary school, at Katherine Tennis Club, the Red Cross, Anglicare, Neighbourhood Watch, and Christian Outreach Centre.
"I am passionate about the Katherine community as I have made it my home," Mrs Kingdon said.
"There are many strong, hardworking families and individuals giving their time and skills to make this town a great place to live and raise a family."
If elected, Mrs Kingdon would make a number of improvements across the area.
"I would like to see environmentally sustainable services and facilities that meet the needs of the people. I support recycling, efficient waste management and protection of natural resources," she said.
"I will work for cool, safe, clean streets; ensure there are more park shelters/shade; improve pedestrian crossings, pathways, lighting, parking areas, public bus transit centre; feasibility of airport service; and resolve problematic traffic areas.
"I would like to see more community consultation and public communication. I will work to help to deliver a balanced and integrated range of services for effective and responsible governance.
"I will work to support and promote the public use of SnapSendSolve app."
Mrs Kingdon said she looked "forward to working together with the elected members alongside the CEO to meet the needs of our increasingly diverse and multicultural community."
