According to a statement released today, the following facilities are now open for use:
- Katherine Civic Centre
- Waste Management Facility
- All Council Parks and Reserves
- Katherine Showgrounds .
- Katherine Sportsgrounds
- Katherine Public Library
- Katherine Visitor Information Centre
- Katherine Aquatic Centre
However, a number of activities for this weekend are no longer on, with the Toyota AFL Live Site being postponed until next year and all CBD Activation events and programs running over the weekend being cancelled.
Early voting for the Local Government Election is also now open at the Oasis Shopping Centre from August 20 - 27.
