Just after 10pm on Saturday night, police revieved a report of a taxi driver who had been hit by a rock allegedly thrown by youths on the Stuart Highway in Katherine South.
Around an hour later, police recieved a report that a number of youths were allegedly throwing rocks at a security vehicle in Maluka Road, Katherine East.
Five youths were arrested by police. Four of them - a 13-year-old, two 11-year-olds and a 10-year old - will be considered for diversion.
OTHER NEWS:
The fifth youth, a 16 year-old, has been charged with two counts of property damage, aggravated assault and possessing stolen property.
Police have refused bail.
