As of August 28 at 10.51pm, Kevin South was leading the race for Mayor with 1,055 primary votes followed by incumbent Mayor Lis Clark with 920 votes.
Ben Herdon is coming third with 548 primary votes followed by Robbie Friel with 284 and Matt Hurley with 185.
As for the Councillor first preference results, incumbent Kym Henderson was leading the pack with 556 votes as of August 29 at 12.28am.
Maddy Bower is coming second with 379 votes followed by Jeremy Trembath with 379 and Ben Herdon with 269.
Vote counting will resume today, with postal votes from the Katherine Town Council election to be done first.
