It will be the first time the BRFL Grand Finals - both men's and women's games - will have been livestreamed or televised.
Head of AFL Northern Territory Stuart Totham said he was thrilled to collaborate with NITV on bringing the best of Big Rivers footy to the screen.
OTHER NEWS:
"We thank NITV and Katherine West Health Board for their support in Territory football coverage and the broadcast of Big Rivers footy nationwide," he said.
"With the BRFL growing substantially this season with an increase of around 25 per cent of participants across the board as well as the introduction of a club aligned Junior series, we are ecstatic for the opportunity to grow the profile of the league even more.
The BRFL was hit by COVID this year which resulted in the grand finals being pushed back by the league.
"We hope those unable to attend the games or those in areas of Australia who may have missed out on their local football finals can tune in to watch some great footy," Mr Totham said.
The big day in Katherine will feature back-to-back senior men's and women's grades games, with the matches set to show off the quality of footy in the Big Rivers region.
