Health Minister Natasha Fyles announced on Monday that the Moderna vaccine would be eligible to everyone aged over 12.
It will be available in the Katherine region for free at the Pharmasave Katherine Pharmacy in the Woolworths shopping complex.
Bookings for the Moderna vaccine in Katherine have not opened yet, but are expected to open in the coming days.
NT Branch Director at the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Judith Oliver, said Katherine is likely to get their supply of Moderna in the next two weeks.

She said the rollout provides an extra choice for Katherine when it comes to getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
"Some of the older people over 60 who may not have wanted to get AstraZeneca now have the choice to get Moderna or Pfizer," she said.
"It's the same for school children aged 12 to 18 as well, it's a convenient place for a family to go to get someone vaccinated rather than through school.
"It's a bit less daunting than a big government clinic."
The Moderna vaccine requires two doses, four weeks apart.
"It's similar to Pfizer, it's an MRNA vaccine," Ms Oliver said.
"It actually has a slightly better effectiveness than the Pfizer vaccine."
