Breast Cancer Awareness
Go pink
October is breast cancer awareness month and Katherine Town Council is encouraging businesses and the community to Paint your Town Pink in the aim of raising awareness. An initiative of the McGrath Foundation, communities come together to "pink up" to raise vital funds that support specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses and create a visual show of support for people going through breast cancer. Get involved by hosting events, housing donation boxes, fund-raising or by adding a splash of pink to your shopfront or office to raise awareness. Visit fundraise.mcgrathfoundation.com.au/fundraisers/katherinetowncouncil.
